Impatiens lingshanensis , a new species of Balsaminaceae is described and illustrated in limestone areas of southern Guangxi, China. This new species is morphologically similar to I . pingxiangensis H. Y. Bi 7 pairs, inner lateral sepals 2, linear or narrowly lanceolate, base lobes of lateral united petals suborbicular and distal lobes dolabriform. Moreover, lip short and spur without dehiscent. A detailed description of the new species and colour photographs are provided. Its geographical distribution and morphology are also compared to similar species.
