One of the most fascinating and discussed technologies in recent years is Artificial Intelligence (AI). With the advent of this technology, it becomes possible for artists to express themselves in a completely new way, without having to go through the familiar processes of creating a work. In the article, I examine whether AI has a future in the field of visual arts. I give examples of what this new tool is used for in the hands of different artists, and also what artists should be careful about so as not to lose their individuality and emotional depth in the creative act.
