Industrial enterprises are the basis for the economic development of the territory. In this regard, the problem of increasing the competitiveness of an industrial enterprise in the conditions of transformation of the market environment is of particular importance for the country's economy. The factors of increasing competitiveness are the competitive advantages formed by the enterprise. Therefore, when assessing the level of competitiveness of an industrial enterprise, it is necessary to analyze the potential capabilities of the business entity under study. In modern conditions, the introduction of digital technologies in an enterprise can be a key factor contributing to the creation and development of additional competitive advantages. The studied Russian and foreign methods of assessing competitiveness do not fully reflect the real picture of the functioning of an industrial enterprise. That is why the purpose of this article is to improve the methodology for assessing the competitiveness of enterprises by developing a quality management system.
