Nonsilyl Bicyclic Secondary Amine Catalysts for the Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation of α,β-Unsaturated Aldehydes

The first chiral synthesis of nonsilyl bicyclic secondary amine organocatalysts and their application to the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of α,β-unsaturated aldehydes are disclosed.
