Accelerating the pace of development, modernization and localization of production of new components of agricultural machinery is possible thanks to the introduction of modern digital engineering technologies into the life cycle of agricultural machinery at the design stage. At the initial stages of the engineering technological process, three-dimensional scanners are used, which are special equipment necessary to determine the geometry of the surfaces of parts with a given level of accuracy. This article discusses the features of different types of scanners that are used for engineering of agricultural machine parts, as well as for monitoring their quality. The technological process of scanning parts of agricultural machinery is proposed.
