Red cultural heritage landscape design is a kind of art form that integrates revolutionary historical events and red cultural elements into landscape design. This paper introduces the process of creating red cultural heritage landscape space with the help of the theory of narratology, divides the method of narrative design of red cultural heritage landscape space into four major steps: determining narrative theme, arranging narrative text, constructing narrative sequence and presenting narrative effect, and analyzes the basic content and significance of different steps of the process, takes the theory of narratology as an entry point, takes the red culture as the theme, and takes the landscape space as the carrier, and puts forward the design strategy in the narrative design of red cultural heritage landscape space. The design strategy is proposed in the narrative design of red cultural heritage landscape space. In order to promote the protection and dissemination of local red cultural heritage resources to play an important role, and to resist the landscape space design formality and landscape homogenization to provide new ideas, enrich the cultural connotation of the landscape space and the viewer's experience.
