This article explores the dynamics of gender equality in European society, focusing on both the progress made and the ongoing challenges facing European society. The study investigates the impact of legal frameworks and rights in shaping equal opportunities for the whole of European society by excluding the possibility of differences on different grounds. Furthermore, the study assesses the impact of institutional commitment to gender equality within European legal and social contexts. The analysis covers a long-term period by examining the legal infrastructure related to gender equality: a model case of some countries in Europe. Through our findings, we will reflect the impact of the factors that have meanwhile combined the phenomenon of inequality in European society. Regarding institutional commitment, we will highlight the effectiveness of intergovernmental policies, proving this hypothesis through statistics that show the position of women in various fields.
