Geometry on deformations of S1 singularities

Abstract

For a one parameter deformation of the S₁ singularity in the three space, we give a form using only isometric maps of the target. Using this form, we study differential geometric properties of S₁ singularities and the Whitney umbrellas appearing in the deformation.
