This paper presents an innovative solution for improving security systems in institutions, faculties, and laboratories by implementing an autonomous door equipped with advanced face recognition technology. This research aims to develop an intelligent entryway that allows access only to authorized individuals, thereby enhancing overall security measures. The proposed system incorporates a two-step verification process for access control. Initially, individuals utilize their digital identification (ID) cards for entry, and subsequently, a highly accurate face detection system is employed as a secondary authentication measure. This ensures that access is granted only to the actual owner of the ID card, providing an additional layer of security, and preventing unauthorized individuals. By combining digital ID cards with robust face recognition capabilities, the implemented solution establishes a reliable and efficient security framework for enhanced access control in educational institutions and similar environments.
