This research is motivated by body image and self esteem as one of the factors causing the emergence of dietary behavior in teenage girl. This study aims to understand the effect of body image and self-esteem on diet behaviour in teenage girl. The participants in this study were 66 teenage girl. Data collected using a scale of diet behavior, body image scale, and self-esteem scale. The scale with the greatest reliability is the diet behavior scale. The results showed that body image and self-esteem had a very significant effect on diet behavior, amounting to 84.9%. Then followed by the influence given by self-esteem on diet behavior which is very significant, amounting to 82%. After that, the lowest but quite significant effect was given by body image on diet behavior by 67.6%.
