The article researches the possibilities of using digital technologies in teaching a foreign language at a technical university. Online platforms, tools and innovative methods applied in teaching a foreign language at a technical university are analyzed and described. The study revealed the advantages of using digital technologies. A survey of technical students to identify the main pros of online platforms and tools was conducted. The results obtained confirm that using digital technologies in teaching a foreign language at a technical university improves students' progress, increases motivation and interest in learning English, helps to improve students' knowledge and makes the process of learning and teaching a foreign language more interactive and creative.
