"The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the existence of linguistic variation in oral discourse, originated from a set of pragmatic factors that can be systematized and related to the contextualization cues that appear in an oral text. A set of examples present these marks related to parameters such as dialogicity, emotionality, referential anchoring and textual planning, which operate within a variational scope that goes beyond the variation in the communication situation and are linked to linguistic resources proper of different oral genres. Keywords: Conversation Analysis; Michoacan Spanish Corpus; Linguistic Variation; Syntactic Complexity; Discourse Production"
