The economic and political potential of each state is inextricably linked with its education system.In the conditions of the information society, the training of pedagogical personnel in accordance with the needs of the society and the improvement of their professional development system are always considered as one of the most relevant topics.Science and technology are developing rapidly.The flow of information in society is expanding day by day.In order to meet the new orders, needs and demands of society, it is necessary to apply modern approaches in the field of education.There is no field of science in which mathematical knowledge and skills are not involved in one form or another.In this regard, the role of the mathematics teacher is indispensable in providing all representatives of the new generation with at least a minimum level of mathematical knowledge and skills.The organization of mathematics teacher training at a high level in the conditions of the information society depends on many factors.The characteristics of mathematics require special attention not only to mathematical knowledge, but also to logic and intuition in the training of pedagogical personnel.In the presented article, the role of logic and intuition in the training of mathematics teachers and the possibilities of their application in the training process have been examined.
