The Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB energy-asymmetric e^+e^- collider is the upgraded successor of the B-factory facility at the KEK laboratory, Japan. The first data taking period beyond the (4S) peak energy has been devoted to the study of the region around s = 10. 75 GeV, where enhanced transition rates to lower bottomonia suggested the existence of a new exotic bound state. This proceedings summarizes the most recent measurements of exotic quarkonium states to probe the fundamentals of QCD at the Belle II experiment.
