This study reports on the integration of ChatGPT, a cutting-edge AI tool, into English classrooms to enhance students' presentation skills. During a four-month semester, students employed ChatGPT for refining their presentation scripts, searching presentation resources, and improving presentation techniques. The effectiveness of this approach was assessed through pre- and post-project surveys, along with evaluations of student presentations by teachers. Results indicate significant improvements in students' presentation skills in English and in their comprehension of topics. Additionally, teachers reported a reduction in the workload associated with script checking and revision. Despite the current skepticism regarding the use of AI tools like ChatGPT in educational contexts, largely due to a lack of empirical data at the forefront of education technology, this project illustrates potential benefits, particularly in language learning environments. It offers valuable insights and can serve as a foundational reference for the broader educational community in considering the adoption of AI tools.
