Power electronics technology and computer technology have made significant progress at present, and the frequency conversion and speed regulation technology of AC motor based on these two technologies has also been developed. Therefore, the variable frequency speed control system of induction motor has become a hot research topic today. The induction motor speed control system is a nonlinear system, and its dynamic response, speed control accuracy, and work efficiency are far superior to other speed control systems. The design strategy of induction motor variable frequency speed control system is based on the mathematical model of induction motor, and the accuracy of motor parameters directly affects the accuracy of flux observation and speed estimation, when the motor parameters are inaccurate, it can lead to a decrease in system performance, therefore, it is necessary to implement adaptive control of motor parameters. In actual working conditions, motor parameters may change due to environmental influences, among which changes in rotor time constant can lead to torque fluctuations and affect system performance. In order to further improve the performance of the system, a model reference adaptive system based on reactive power model is proposed for online identification of rotor time constant. The algorithm has been proven to be effective through experiments.
