As the world faces shrinking budgets and intense global competition, investments made towards environmental sustainability have become increasingly important. In particular, the transparency of such investments has become crucial. Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) has emerged as a key strategy for organizations to accurately predict and improve their Environmental Performance (EP). To gain a comprehensive understanding of the current state of GHRM and EP research, a bibliometric study was conducted. The study analyzed a total of 71 Scopus articles on GHRM and its methods to enhance EP. The most frequently referenced publications were identified through a combination of citation and co-citation techniques. Furthermore, keyword networks were analyzed using VOS Viewer software. The findings of this study provide valuable information on the development of GHRM and EP research over time, as well as identifying any knowledge gaps that may exist in the field. This study is a step toward understanding how GHRM can contribute towards achieving organizational sustainability goals.
