This document is Section 106 report that describes the archaeological studies conducted by Environmental Solutions, Inc. for the Martin Marrietta Corporation in support of the United States Air Force (USAF), Space Systems Division. The archaeological studies were performed for the Space Launch Complex-4 (SLC-4) Power System Upgrade (PSU) project and five historic properties in the Lompoc Mesa and Canada Honda areas of South Vandenberg Air Force Base (V AFB) were investigated. These investigations were conducted to assess the extent and significance of three prehistoric properties and the potential for the project to affect significant cultural values at all five sites in the vicinity of the area of potential effect (APE). In addition, during the construction/installation phases of the project, archaeological and Native American monitoring was conducted.
