Abstract This article examines four different points where an astrological or astrobiological discovery might propose a challenge for Christian religion. These points of contact are the size of the cosmos, human uniqueness, Christological considerations and the ultimate fate of the cosmos. I argue that the most popular interpretations of these challenges are not very serious, while there are certain issues that may genuinely push Christian religion and theology to reconsider some topics in their belief system.
