This paper examines the oral–systemic health connection through a three-year community-based school dental program conducted at Mahendra Public School in Kathmandu, Nepal, in collaboration with Lions Club International. Using small-group interactive education, preventive interventions, and basic treatment, the program screened approximately 500 participants annually. Findings demonstrate a significant reduction in dental caries and gingivitis among schoolchildren, alongside reported improvements in systemic health indicators such as digestion. The study highlights the effectiveness of school-based dental education and community engagement in improving oral and overall health outcomes in low- and middle-income settings.
