The digital age has brought revolutionary changes to second language acquisition. Relying on the Internet, AI, and other technologies, learners can obtain a more immersive learning experience. But it also faces the problems of digital divide, learning effect evaluation, and content quality control. This study aims to explore new ways to improve the effectiveness of second language acquisition in the digital age. By analyzing the videos in the teaching program , this paper explores the multimodal learning and digital resources. The purpose is to explore the help of multimodal paths to second foreign language acquisition. Research shows that network resources and digital tools enrich learning resources and create more practical and efficient learning paths. But it also needs to be alert to technology dependence and strengthen digital literacy education. In the future, it should explore the blended learning mode, integrating offline interpersonal interaction and online technology advantages. And establish a multi-dimensional evaluation system to comprehensively measure the development of learners’ language and intercultural communicative competence.
