Abstract

This datasheet accompanies the Delpher Newspaper Collection published by the KB, the National Library of the Netherlands. It has been prepared in accordance with the Datasheet for Digital Cultural Heritage specification, version 2. The Delpher Newspaper Collection comprises over 2,2 million newspapers, originally printed between 1618 and 2005, and digitised between 2006 and the present day. The collection contributes to the overarching goal of the KB to make large portions of the national print heritage (books, newspapers, and magazines) accessible to the public via the web (Delpher) and available as data for researchers.
