ABSTRACT During an investigation of Burkholderia species from agricultural soils in Mexico, Burkholderia semiarida was isolated from the rhizosphere of Theobroma cacao L. growing in Chiapas, Mexico. Here, we present the draft genome of Burkholderia semiarida CLM7-1.
