This paper introduces the category of Ontologically Restricted Artifacts (ORAs): objects defined by procedural danger rather than symbolic meaning. Drawing parallels between ancient ritual protocols and modern technical safety regimes, the study frames ritual as an interface manual governing interaction with incompatible systems.The analysis maintains ontological neutrality while formalizing a transferable functional vocabulary.
