The necessity of good environmental conditions, for a healthy life of population, created the premises for an increased interest of many municipalities towards environmental monitoring systems. Concomitantly, specialised companies started to offer the meanings to mitigate, in some extent, the impact of air pollution on human health. In this respect, the present paper is offering a renewed insight on the situation of particle matter concentration for a site that previously was the subject of this type of measurements. The novelty of the measuring campaign presented in this work is the utilisation of an air purifier, as previously suggested in the form of a future research direction by the study already mentioned. Beside comparing the concentrations of particle matters with and without using an air purifier in the chosen location, in this study the obtained data was also presented against the data from the national monitoring system. This process helped emphasising the utility of a purifier utilisation in indoor locations and the necessity of constant monitoring of air pollution, especially in large and/or industrialised settlements.
