Pseudomyogenic haemangioendothelioma is a rare, diagnostically challenging, intermediate-grade vascular tumour. 1 It classically arises in the distal extremities of young adult males and is frequently multifocal. 1 The aetiology is unknown, and less than 200 cases have been reported. 2 We describe a case of pseudomyogenic haemangioendothelioma in a young adult male who presented to the emergency department with a six-week history of a non-healing wound on his right second toe after an injury playing sport. He was referred to orthopaedics and underwent a right second toe amputation for suspected osteomyelitis. He was also referred to dermatology for a right foot plantar skin lesion, which was biopsied.
