This study clarifies an estimation result of hub function and daily life convenience of public housing from the viewpoint of compact city by targeting three cities of Aichi prefecture. This study depends on a hypothesis that public housing could play the role of hub function in the case located in Urban Function Inducing Area (UFIA) or the case that it has better convenient environment of daily life outside UFIA. Through empirical methodology we show that public housing has hub functioning potential in three targeted cities and some candidates are estimated highly on daily life convenience by residents really.
