Abstract In view of the fact that enterprises are increasingly adopting hybrid and multicloud infrastructures in order to uphold scalability and flexibility, it has become imperative to secure such varied environments. Using dynamic threat intelligence in combination with adaptive policy enforcement, a novel method is introduced for improving real-time threat mitigation. Experiment shows that dynamic policy enforcement can improve threat detection accuracy by 15%, lower false positives, and increase security automation by a significant amount. Areas to be investigated include the ability of the platforms to interoperate with established systems, such as legacy systems, how policy automation scales, and how these scales adhere to regulatory compliance across a field of cloud providers. The results shed light on cloud workload protection platforms’ possibilities as well as their limitations, providing actionable takeaways for organizations desiring to enhance their cloud security posture amidst the complexities of today’s networked, as well as distributed world.
