The study focuses on analysing gender-specific land rights policies in the Tanzanian Highlands, a region known for its agricultural productivity and socio-economic challenges. The analysis employs a systematic approach, including the identification, screening, data extraction, and synthesis of relevant studies. Statistical methods such as meta-regression models are used to assess the robustness of findings across different contexts and methodologies. A significant proportion (75%) of reviewed studies indicated that legal frameworks significantly improved women's access to land, though implementation challenges persist in many areas. The empirical evidence supports the efficacy of gender-specific land rights policies but highlights gaps in enforcement and support systems. Policy-makers should focus on strengthening judicial mechanisms and enhancing community engagement for effective policy implementation. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
