The Report “Chromosome segregation errors as a cause of DNA damage and structural chromosome aberrations” by A. Janssen et al. (30 September 2011, 10.1126/science.1210214) contained an error in Fig. 1. The images of “asynchronous” cells shown in panel C are the images that belong to the experiment shown in Fig. 3A and were somehow misplaced during the revision of the manuscript. The corrected figure (identical to the figure panel included in the first submission of the manuscript) is now published online. This error does not affect any of the interpretations and conclusions of the described work.
