Rwanda has implemented school-based reproductive health programmes to improve adolescent sexual health practices. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including surveys and focus group discussions with students and educators. The survey indicated that 72% of participants reported increased knowledge about reproductive health. School-based programmes significantly enhanced adolescent knowledge acquisition but had limited impact on practice changes. Further educational interventions should emphasise practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge.
