In Ethiopia, regional monitoring networks have been implemented to track environmental changes and resource management. These systems are crucial for improving governance and sustainability. A Difference-in-Differences approach will be employed, with pre- and post-intervention data on network implementation to measure changes in adoption rates. The analysis revealed that the regional monitoring networks were adopted at varying speeds across regions, with some lagging behind others by up to two years. This study provides insights into the factors influencing the adoption of these networks and highlights areas for improvement in future implementation strategies. Policy-makers are encouraged to focus on enhancing communication channels and establishing clear timelines for network deployment to accelerate adoption rates. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
