Based on the research conducted, technical and technological solutions are developed that enable the intensification of steelmaking in EAFs using more efficient current modes, increasing oxygen utilization while simultaneously reducing specific consumption. Measures are developed to ensure the stable and efficient operation of the continuous cast tubular billet production unit for a wide range of pipe steel grades. The final result of this work is the development of a methodology for effectively increasing AFS productivity, improving production efficiency while ensuring the required product quality. The developed methodology is based on a design approach and a wide range of tools covering all aspects of the shop’s operations.
