Are circulating B-cell activating factor (BAFF) levels associated with adverse outcomes, development of MI, and progression of heart failure in patients with acute coronary syndromes?
Circulating BAFF may play a pathophysiological role in the development of myocardial infarction and subsequent adverse remodeling in acute coronary syndromes.
Our study supports a role for BAFF in the development of MI, potentially also in post-MI remodeling.
