ABSTRACT In this work, a new criterion for the exponential stability of th moments of discrete‐time stochastic systems (DTSSs) with delayed impulses and Markov jump is established based on the Lyapunov method and the Razumikin techniques. The results show that the DTSSs with Markov jump can be exponentially stabilized by the impulse. Moreover, the stability of DTSS with Markov jump without impulses can be maintained with appropriate impulse intervals. Finally, the validity and superiority of the obtained results are demonstrated by some numerical examples.
