Cesium lead chloride (CsPbCl3) perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) are promising nanomaterials for pure blue colour or ultraviolet light emitters. Although many NC synthesis reaction parameters influence NC size, it is not trivial to achieve high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) without post-treatment. Here we demonstrate controlling CsPbCl3 nanocuboid size and PLQY using a hot injection method without post-treatment. CsPbCl3 nanocuboid length can be readily tuned from 4.5 nm to 12 nm by altering precursor lead ion concentration and lead to cesium ion concentration ratio, while the maximum PLQY of ~40% can be achieved for the nanocuboid whose length is about 6 nm.
