The field of architecture design has also started to take advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to carry out its essential functions. The rise of generative AI (GenAI) tools has paved the way for improving the efficiency of the architecture design process and, at the same time, posed risks that hamper users from eventually adopting such tools. Therefore, this paper intends to understand the constructs influencing the adoption of GenAI tools through interpretive structural modeling (ISM). It is interesting to note that social influence is considered the most influential construct in adopting GenAI tools. The key results of this paper further provide insights to decision-makers in prioritizing constructs to increase the likelihood of GenAI tool adoption.
