The main objective of this research was to determine what a physically literate student is from the perspective of Physical Education teachers, with the intention of knowing the thinking of Physical Education teachers regarding the Physical Literacy of students. This research is a descriptive study, with a cross-sectional design and a survey type study was used. The sample was 72 teachers, 60 men (82.9%) and 12 women 72 Physical Education teachers: 60 men (82.9%) with an average age of 30.9 ± 6.1 years and 12 women (17.1%), all appointed as Physical Education teachers. As a data collection instrument, the “Professional Socialization Questionnaire in Physical Education” was applied, composed of 16 questions. As a measure of internal consistency of the questionnaire, Cronbach's Alpha was used, with a value of α = 0.73. The data obtained from the study suggest that a physically literate student, according to the Physical Education teacher, is one who performs physical-sports activities independently, practices healthy lifestyle habits, knows his physical limitations and is capable of developing his physical abilities and knowing his strengths and weaknesses.
