Abstract COS-2 presents a systematic novelty analysis of chromatic computing. After examining patent systems, HCI research, OS design history, AI architectures, spatial computing, cognitive science and thermodynamic-computing literature, no prior art was found resembling the unified chromatic substrate or the drift-coherence semantics of COS-1. The document shows that COS-1 introduces unprecedented mechanisms: • a continuous chromatic OS substrate • drift as semantic primitive • thermodynamic coherence as state validator • attractor entities replacing apps • emergent time and aura continuity COS-2 establishes COS-1 as structurally novel and marks it as the canonical origin of post-symbolic computing.
