Summary statement This study develops a novel biocontrol strategy by repurposing the wheat pathogen Fusarium graminearum into an RNAi delivery platform using a mycovirus‐mediated gene silencing system. The engineered fungus produces insecticidal small RNAs targeting essential thrips genes, effectively reducing pest survival and plant damage, thereby offering a sustainable approach for pest management.
