Thulium stannate with a pyrochlore structure was prepared by solid-phase synthesis. The heat capacity of polycrystalline TmSnO was measured by adiabatic and differential scanning calorimetry in the temperature range of 4.51–1573 K. The values of standard mole entropy, enthalpy change, and reduced Gibbs energy of TmSnO have been calculated from smoothed heat capacity values. The standard Gibbs energy of formation of polycrystalline thulium stannate at T = 298.15 K has been evaluated.
