This article addresses the impact of radar data display on the situational and tactical awareness of the AH-64 helicopter crew. The context of the study is the modern battlefield environment, characterized by high operational dynamics, a saturation of operational resources, and a high level of information saturation. An increasingly common problem is not a lack of information, but rather its overload, which overwhelms the capabilities of its selection, pre-processing, and perception. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of data display acquired by fire control radar and command support systems on tactical orientation and the decision-making cycle. The main research question is how multimedia radar data display affects the situational awareness of the AH-64 helicopter crew. The article analyzes the architecture of on-board systems, the method of radar data presentation, and the conclusions drawn from operational tests of the Lot 4 AH-64E Apache platform.
