BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY: Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer and the second leading cause of death in women. This study was conducted to find out the knowledge about breast cancer among students.MATERIALS AND METHODS: A descriptive research design was used for the study. A total of 30 samples were selected for this study. A non-probability sampling method was used for this study. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and knowledge was assessed. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential and statistical methods. RESULTS: Among30 students, 10% of them had adequate knowledge, 53%of them had moderately adequate knowledge, 37% of them had inadequate knowledge on Breast Cancer. CONCLUSION: This study concluded that most female students had moderate knowledge about breast cancer. She therefore insists on the need to improve breast cancer knowledge among students.
