With the aim of reducing rework in 3D CAD design, we are developing "Design Insight CAD" that automatically checks whether the CAD model to be designed satisfies the design rules. In this study, we developed a prototype system that automatically extracts design rules that can be implemented in the awareness support CAD from documents containing knowledge about design and manufacturing. This system aims to improve the comprehensiveness of design rules by utilizing generative AI to efficiently analyze large amounts of documents. This report provides an overview of the system and results of its verification.
