Objectives: To review contemporary therapeutic approaches for effective management of dentinal hypersensitivity. Methods: A narrative review was conducted evaluating conventional desensitizing agents and modern technologies including nanomaterials, laser therapy, and biomimetic remineralization strategies. Results: Nanohydroxyapatite, bioactive glass, CPP-ACP, ozone therapy, and laser-based treatments demonstrated superior tubule occlusion and long-term pain reduction. Combination therapies further enhanced clinical outcomes compared to conventional agents. Conclusions: Advancements in biomaterials and laser technology have significantly improved dentinal hypersensitivity management. Personalized treatment strategies are recommended for optimal results.
