The advancement in automation and renewable energy technologies has led to the development of smart systems for agricultural and domestic applications. This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based solar powered grass cutting robot with automatic obstacle avoidance. The system uses solar energy as the primary power source, reducing dependency on conventional electricity and minimizing environmental impact. An Arduino Uno microcontroller is used to control the robot's operations. Ultrasonic sensors are employed for obstacle detection and navigation. IoT integration enables remote monitoring and control of the system. The proposed system reduces human effort, improves efficiency, and ensures safe operation. Experimental results demonstrate reliable performance and energy efficiency, making the system suitable for small-scale lawn maintenance.
