In contemporary culture, memorial landscapes – sites of collective memory and historical continuity – play a significant role. Based on sociological diagnostics (empirical research conducted through five field expeditions), this study examines the regional memorial landscape of Arkaim, an archaeological site and a natural-cultural reserve in the Southern Urals. It synthesizes the motivations, types of activities, the specifics of material and symbolic expressions of identity, and the profiles of modern tourists.
