While traditionally viewed through the lens of fertility, modern clinical understanding now links PCOS to deep-rooted issues like insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and emerging evidence of gut dysbiosis. This article describes the transition from "symptom management" to "precision medicine.” The article highlights how advanced diagnostic tools—such as high-sensitivity hormonal assays and AMH testing—are providing earlier, more accurate interventions. Furthermore, the shift in the therapeutic landscape has been examined, where traditional treatments are being bolstered by novel agents like GLP-1 receptor agonists and SGLT2 inhibitors. By integrating nutraceuticals and lifestyle-focused care, the future of PCOS management lies in personalized, long-term metabolic protection rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
