Abstract

This study examines what effects AI and RPA will bring to the Accounting and Auditing fields in Japanese Society 5.0. Especially, to which extent AI and RPA will be able to make Accounting and Auditing work automated. Furthermore, whether these technologies will cause workforce replacement or supplementation in the Accounting and Auditing fields. Moreover, this study raises issues about future research.
