Mucormycosis is a rare opportunistic fungal disease that progresses quickly, becomes spout and ultimately lethal. This condition is predisposed to by the patient’s poor systemic health. It begins after the inhalation of the fungal spores. The rhinomaxillary type invades the nasal mucosa and the paranasal sinus involvement is also present. This can be fatal if it extends into the orbital region and intracranium. Hence, early diagnosis and intervention are important for better prognosis. The aim of the current paper is to report a case series presenting radiographic features of rhinomaxillary mucormycosis using cone-beam computed tomography.
